My Bio
Diesel LaForce, a self taught artist, started his career in the gaming industry as an illustrator and cartographer for TSR (the D&D people) in 1979 and stayed with them until 1998. He has created literally thousands of illustrations and maps for games, books, and magazines. His work has shown up in hundreds of titles including Ravenloft, Planescape, Dark Sun, Forgotten Realms, and Dragonlance. If TSR made it, he most likely worked on it. You can also find him helping run the Gen Con Art Show as a senior volunteer in Indianapolis every year. Diesel’s artistic focus has recently turned to sculpting with roots still firmly grounded in fantasy. His company, ShadowCastings creates hand made castings of his work.

You will see some illustrations I have put up that I did for the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons book Deities and Demigods. I am in the process of redrawing those. Many of my original illustrations no longer exist, being destroyed years ago by an art director at TSR Hobbies. Deviant Art has given me an outlet to offer those redraws to fans of the original works. I will be launching the first offerings of these drawings on Kickstarter soon. After that they will be available here on Deviant Art. I will add a link to Kickstarter when the project is up and running.
